Dead Men Walking sounds a bit cryptic doesn't it? Well, most everyone you
know, most everyone you see walking down the street, are just that;
Dead Men Walking. I say this with the conviction of truth, because Jesus and the Bible say it's so, and neither lie.
A lot of people say they are Christians because they believe in
God. Well I'm here to tell you that simply believing in
God and Jesus Christ as Our Savior is not nearly enough. A Christian who wants to be saved must live for Him
'til he dies. Being saved is a life-changing event which is where the term "Born
Again" comes from.
So when you walk down the street and see people who don't walk
the walk of someone wanting to be like Christ, you're looking at
another soul that will die and not see eternal life.
Denial can be a killer.
I am come in my Father's
name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his
own name, him ye will receive.
John 5:43
For, 'Everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Romans 10:13
The Blessed Hope of Salvation; The Second Advent;
The Millennial Kingdom; The Second Coming of The Messiah
Jesus Christ. The single most highly anticipated event in the history of
mankind, and for good reason. The meek shall inherit the Earth. Christians are looking forward to this
event as their most glorious moment. But most of humanity fears this
event as they know that it signals their damnation. Whether it's people who
don't/won't live for Him, or those who flat out reject Him, those
people have much to fear. For Christians, deliverance. For everyone
else, condemnation and hellfire. It will be both a happy and sad moment
as those who have made the right choice watch the overwhelming
majority of humans be condemned. It will be both a victorious moment for
those of us who have chosen to live our lives for Christ, and a moment
that spells doom for billions of souls who have chosen not to live
for Him. Christians will be redeemed and victorious, receiving
life's greatest
reward, a crown of eternal life. And those who are in opposition to Jesus and Christianity
will be judged. (To clarify that point, we will ALL be judged
for our works and sins, but those who have repented of their sins will receive eternal life, and
all
others will receive eternal torment in hell).
Chew on these facts for a moment before continuing
on:
There are over 300 prophecies in the Old Testament
foretelling the coming of the Messiah Jesus. (some examples: Micah 5:2 stated he would
be born in Bethlehem - in Matthew 2:6 it was fulfilled; Isaiah 7:14 foretold
him being born of a virgin - fulfilled in Matthew 1:21; it was told they
would pierce his hands and his feet in Psalms 26:16 - fulfilled in John
19:37; they would cast lots for his clothing, not a bone should be broken...
it goes on and on). A portion of the more than 300 prophecies
have already been fulfilled
by the birth, life, and blood of our Savior Jesus Christ (48 to be exact). The odds of that happening, all
of these prophecies being
fulfilled by one person (Jesus) are virtually (mathematically) impossible.
Westmont College and Harvard did a study on the odds of one person
fulfilling just 8 of the prophecies that have already been fulfilled. Over 600 people worked on this
study, and using just any 8 of the prophecies they found that the odds were
1 in 10 to the 17th power (1,000,000,000,000,000,000).
In fact, to
illustrate the odds more definitively, a conservative estimate
on His fulfilling these 48 prophecies are 1 in One-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion-Trillion! Essentially, the
fulfillment is so astronomically impossible to have happened by mere chance
that we can't even truly calculate the actual odds. A person would actually
have to try harder to NOT believe in Christ as the Messiah, than
to have faith in Him as the one and only Son Of God. That's how
astronomical the odds are! The rest of the prophecies
are yet to be fulfilled and couldn't have been, nor were meant to be, at His first coming.
Based on what we know, the rest will be fulfilled with 100%
accuracy when He comes again to conquer evil and
set up the Millennial Kingdom.
The
resurrection itself, which most people flat out deny because
none of us has ever witnessed such an event, has been put to the
test of legal evidentiary scrutiny, and passed as actual fact.
There is so much evidence that corroborate Jesus' rising after
three days in the grave that legal scholars agree that it
actually happened. Given that testimony, just because we
ourselves haven't witnessed it doesn't mean it didn't or can't
happen. Don't forget that we're talking about God, the creator
of an entire universe, who made this happen. There is NOTHING He
can't do! Nothing! He created the universe we live in. He
created mankind. He created an earth will skeletal remains of
"dinosaurs" and other ancient/timeless creatures so as to give
scientists something to force them to make a choice of faith, or
false fact. For the record, the Darwinian theory (that all
living creatures evolved from a single cell from which
biological and molecular changes happened over billions of years
to eventually lead to humans) has been proven as false for
decades. Yet they still teach that lie in schools from
elementary up through college. Why do they promote a lie?
Because most people, especially those with money and/or power,
refuse to believe in something unseen. The thought of "miracles"
performed by a spiritual being is too much for their minds to
comprehend. Truly it's sad that so many will be judged simply by
believing a lie pushed on them since they were in grade school.
On another quick note. The "Big Bang" theory has also been
proven false. Not to mention the theory that life evolved from a
primordial ooze in which an amino acid was the beginning of
life, has also been proven wrong for several decades. Yet it's
all still taught in the public school system.
Meanwhile, the
signs we were told to watch for in the Bible as the signs were
close to the Second Coming are happening all around us daily.
Mankind is on the verge of witnessing the greatest event since
the first coming. Don't get left behind. Don't believe the lies
of atheists. Don't believe Satan as he tries to convince the
world that neither he nor God exist. It doesn't matter what
nationality you are, what sins you've committed, what religion
you used to follow, you can still be saved by giving your life
over to Jesus Christ today. Trust me when I say that time is
running out for everyone. Choose to live for Jesus, or you're
choosing to suffer eternally. Who in their right minds would
consciously choose to suffer eternally? Take a lesson from the
Apostle Paul who was once one of the most feared persecutors of
the early Christians, who saw Jesus on the road to Damascus and
turned his life over to Him. He went on to become one of
Christ's greatest preachers of the Word and is responsible for
more books of the New Testament than any other writer. If he can
be saved, anyone can. Give your life to Jesus today and relieve
yourself of that burden you're carrying on your conscience...
Before continuing on, if
you're not a true believer, or are on the fringe of belief and
disbelief, take a moment to read this article regarding several
world-renowned individuals who took the resurrection of Jesus Christ
2,000 years ago, and put it to the test of legal evidence. This is a
must-read for anyone on the fringe, or if you just feel like you
want to reaffirm your faith in the Lord. Read this before continuing

There is also a very worthy
DVD that you will want to rent of buy called: "The
Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel.
Let me follow these up with
this little known fact about people who try to disprove Jesus
Christ's divinity. All those who go through the analytical processes
of evidence and research come to the same conclusion: That Jesus
Christ not only lived, but was of divine nature as the Bible states,
did actually die for our sins as he and the Bible have stated, and
did live again after three days in the grave. Each person who uses
due diligence and keeps their minds open to the truth all come to
the same conclusion, Jesus Christ was the son of God, was actually
God himself in the flesh, and was resurrected as told in the Bible.
Virtually all of these people who have gone through this process of
evidentiary research also find themselves not only proving the case
for Christ, which they set out to disprove, but also turned their
lives over to God. They were born again. What does that tell you?
That people who have the knowledge, money, and perseverance and see
it through beginning to end, all come to believe that the Bible is
100% fact regarding Jesus Christ. I tell you this because most of us
don't have that kind of knowledge, financial support, and
perseverance to take on such a daunting and time-consuming task. And
since these people have done this work for you, you have further
proof that the Bible is indeed fact, Jesus did in fact live, die,
and live again, and you can be saved by simply believing in Him and
giving your life to Him.
If the detailed and
complete documentation in the Bible isn't quite enough for you to
believe, there are dozens and dozens of cases where experts like the
ones I've referenced above to help convince you. What truly is the
bottom line here? You need to believe in Jesus, or you will be
rejecting him. There's no in between. And by rejecting Him, you will
end up in just one place, hell, for eternity. That means in 1
million years, you'll still be there, tormented as you were the day,
year, millennium before. Is it worth that? One simple decision,
based on fact in a book that's lasted throughout thousands of years
of persecution and attempted elimination by dozens of evil empires.
Throughout the centuries since His sacrifice for our
souls, those of Islamic faith (created sometime around the 7th or
8th centuries) have taken steps to try and prevent
His Second Coming. Not only do they see it as their personal mission
to eliminate all Jews and Christians from the face of the planet, but they've also
taken such drastic measures as building a cemetery blocking the main
entrance into Jerusalem. There's a belief (that I'm not certain of
one way or the other) that a Jewish Rabbi (Rabbi means teacher) can't
cross over a cemetery, so they've built this as a means to prevent
his entrance into Jerusalem when he comes again. However, there is
nothing ANYONE can do to prevent His Second Coming and
subsequent judgment of man. He will come again, and for most it
won't be a happy homecoming. But if you have Jesus in your heart and
you've chosen to live by Biblical principals, you can rest assured
that your victory will be guaranteed. Have no fear, nothing can stop
Him.
So why would Islam try to prevent His coming? I
would gather that it's because those of the radical Muslim beliefs
(a small but highly publicized influential percentage) are afraid
that they've chosen the wrong side and that if they can somehow
prevent His coming, they can escape His judgment. Now I will be
one to quickly acknowledge that there are people of Muslim belief
that will be saved, as long as their hearts are in the right place.
Each of us has a moral conscience given to us by God. Each one of us
humans knows the difference between right and wrong. God gave us
that gift since the beginning, so there are no excuses for following
evil. The Bible states that the Lord will save those people who have
lived righteously, whether they've heard The Word of God or not. If
they've listened to their hearts and allowed themselves to be guided
by a strong moral character of Biblical principals, instilled in
them by God, they can be
saved.
Back when Jesus first lived, he wasn't received
well, particularly by the Jewish Sadducees and Pharisees. They were expecting
a great conqueror to be born unto them and give Israel a great
ruling kingdom. They expected the birth of their "savior" to herald
world supremacy, which didn't happen. Jesus was humble of full
of love. Jesus came to die in our
place, that we could be saved through Him. Not only were they
disappointed in their savior, but they (Sadducees
and Pharisees) saw themselves
as the upper-most of the religious class and therefore most
powerful, aside from the Roman Empire who ruled over all the
historical world of Jesus' first time living on earth. Jesus could
have taken them all out in an instant, with just a word, but He
didn't. He chose to be a teacher of the Word of God, to ensure that
everyone who would listen knew the Truth as it was meant to be
understood.
His reference in John 5:43 is to
how mankind essentially cast him aside then, and still cast him aside in
large part now. Moreover, unrighteous men and women will welcome the Antichrist with open arms and
blessings. Mankind is so easily deceived in our self-centered egotistical
vanity that we will walk into the greatest deception of all time
when we allow the Antichrist to take control over the world
governments and rule with an iron rod. He will be seen by the
masses as the
Messiah, the man with the plan, the greatest achiever, with an
answer to all the worlds problems. Yet it will all be a
brilliant ruse put on
by Satan, who's already convinced so many billions of people that he
and God don't exist. Satan will be pulling the strings of the
Antichrist and False Prophet in the last 7 years of this life on
earth and there is nothing
anyone can do about it. God will allow this ultimate deception
on the unbelievers as a lesson to mankind. It is God's will to show us just how
stupid we are when we try to run our own lives in all it's
sinfulness. Mankind deserves the judgments coming and we all
know it...
I love Jesus, hearing and knowing what he said, and how he said it,
so I love the book of John. There is one God, and but one Jesus, so
it's awesome to know His words and how he wants us to be. The book
of John is an eyewitness accounting of Jesus and the
miracles John witnessed at the hands of Jesus. It's the best book of
the Bible in my humble opinion. Everything, every word in the Bible
is good and inspiring, but I prefer to read John over any book. In
the book of John, Jesus refers to himself with many different names,
all have special and specific meanings. I like them all and I wanted
to take a quick moment to share them with you;
Son of Man -
Jesus' favorite
reference to himself. It emphasized his humanity - but the way
he used it, it was a claim to divinity.
Bread of life -
Refers to his
life-giving role - that he is the only source of eternal life.
Light of the world -
Light is a
symbol of spiritual truth. Jesus is the universal answer for
people's need of spiritual truth.
Door for the sheep -
Jesus is the
only way into God's Kingdom.
Good Shepherd -
Jesus appropriated
the prophetic images of the Messiah pictured in the Old
Testament. This is a claim to divinity, focusing on Jesus' love
and guidance.
The Resurrection and the Life -
Not only is Jesus the source of life, he is the power over
death.
The Way, the Truth, and the Life -
Jesus is the method, the message, and the meaning for all
people. With this title, he summarized his purpose in coming to
earth.
The Vine -
This title has an
important second part, "ye are the branches." As in so many of
his other names, Jesus reminds us that just as branches gain
life from the vine and cannot live apart from it, so we are
completely dependent on Christ for spiritual life.

5. His sermon on the Mount set forth the
highest standard for how we should live.
6. He modeled forgiveness in a world of
stone throwers.
7. He transformed fishermen and tax
collectors into world changers.
8. He healed the sick and raised the
dead enough said.
9. He challenged religion devoid of
compassion.
10. He willingly accepted a cruel death
so that we might have life.
As we enter Holy Week we contemplate
Jesus death and that first Easter
morning. The week started with betrayal,
confusion and sorrow only to end in
celebration. The scriptures tell us that
God showed his love among us He sent
his one and only Son into the world that
we might live through Him.
If you're not convinced of Jesus, His existence, or His Divine
Majesty as God's one and only begotten Son, then you should take a
moment to rent a DVD called "The Case For Christ" by
Lee Strobel. The documentary focuses on an investigative reporter
who didn't believe in God or Jesus Christ. His wife began to go to
church, started believing in Jesus, and he saw a lot of positive
changes happening to her. However, he wasn't convinced that Jesus
was the reason, and wanted to prove to his wife that Jesus Christ
was not the Son of God. So he went through 2 years of research,
speaking with the top authorities on Biblical history and
documentation, talking to and researching everything available that
might be used to discredit Jesus.
Not only did he find that all the original
documentation that was used to create the Bible was accurate and
trustworthy, he found something that defies human nature. When Jesus
was arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, every one of His disciples
fled and deserted Him. They were scared for their lives of course.
Jesus had told them that this moment was coming and that they'd all
desert Him, as they did. After Jesus was nearly beaten to death by
scourging, he was nailed to a cross, stabbed in the side with a
spear, and crucified. When the disciples saw that their King, the
Son of Man, was dead, they questioned whether or not He really was
who he said He was. How can the Son of God, and extension of
the one and only God, be dead? He certainly can't be Godlike when
mere people could kill Him, could He? The faith of the disciples
left them.
But then he arose, in three days, as He
said He would in Matthew 25:61. And He showed Himself to his disciples, along with
about 500 others, as being alive and well, having defied death by
means of resurrection. Being dead, he couldn't have resurrected
himself, so the one and only God had to have done it to prove His
son was the Son of God. What happened then to the disciples was the
final proof that the investigative reporter needed to be convinced
that not only was Jesus Christ a real person, but He was the one and
only Son of God. The disciples faith was not only resurrected along
with Christ, but it was strengthened tenfold. Not only did they
believe again in the Son of Man, Jesus Christ, but they believed
with such zeal that they were willing to die in their spreading of
The Word. From that point forward, they were changed forever into
crusaders for Christ, fearing no punishment, nor death. If Jesus
could defeat death, as he'd told them they also could, they had
nothing to fear. Death was only temporary for any and all true
believers in Christ.
Now that is a testament that
can't be explained by anything other than a true witnessing of the
resurrection of their God...
10 OBJECTIONS TO CHRISTIANITY - AND THE
CHRISTIAN RESPONSES
I personally don't know who wrote these, but they're what appears
to me to be the most common objections to Christ and Christianity (I
personally used several of these myself before my conversion.) So it
would make good sense for anyone who wants to be a Christian and
help unbelievers find their way, to copy these down and memorize the
answers so that you can prove to them that their thinking is wrong
and misguided.
#1-Q) Christians are hypocrites.
A)A hypocrite is an actor, a person
who pretends to be something she isn't. Jesus' harshest
words were reserved for hypocrites. The reality is,
there always have been and always will be some
hypocrites in the Church. BUT JESUS DOESN'T ASK US
TO FOLLOW OTHERS; HE ASKS US TO FOLLOW HIM (AMEN TO THIS).
Although Christians can represent Jesus either poorly or
well, the real question isn't whether there are
hypocrites in the Church, but whether Jesus is a
hypocrite. If someone can prove that Jesus was a
hypocrite, then the whole structure of Christianity
falls into ruin. The Bible, God's Word, presents Jesus
as nothing less than perfect. Jesus' disciples testified
that Jesus was without sin (1 Peter 2:22; 1 John 3:5).
Even Jesus himself challenged others to prove that he'd
ever sinned (John 8:46).
#2-Q) What about the atrocities Christians
have committed? Some blame Christianity for religious
wars, the Crusades, burning witches, the Inquisition,
slavery, even the Holocaust.
A) The issue of atrocities is simply an
extension of the question of hypocrites. So-called
believers who didn't practice true Christianity have
perpetrated evil. In reality, these people were
Christian in name only. Focusing on their atrocities is
a smoke screen to avoid the real issue. Christianity has
far more positive achievements than negative influences.
It's been instrumental in the formation of countless
hospitals, schools, colleges, orphanages, relief
agencies, and charity agencies. No other religion in
history can compare.
#3-Q) Christianity is a crutch. Karl Marx,
author of The Communist Manifesto, said, "Religion is
the opiate of the masses."
A) Critics such as Marx have charged
that religion is an invention designed for people
incapable of coping with life's pressures. Some critics
respond that they don't need this type of emotional
comfort, as though that fact falsifies Christianity.
Such individuals often claim to be "stronger" because
they're brave enough to face life without a "crutch." To
imply non-religious people don't need a crutch is
misleading. Dependence on drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex,
money, power, other people, and material possessions
demonstrates some people's need for a crutch.
Atheismthe belief that there is no Godcan become a
crutch for those addicted to a lifestyle contrary to
God's standards of morality. Rather than being weak,
Christians are strongnot because they depend on
themselves, but because they depend on Jesus. Everyone
needs assistance. The question is, what will you lean
on? Christianity provides what atheism or other
religions never can: spiritual fulfillment, peace, and
forgiveness.
#4-Q) It's narrow-minded to think Jesus is
the only way to God. Jesus claimed he was the only way
to God (John 14:6).
A) Such a claim is either totally true
or totally false. Some people claim to be Christians,
yet ignore Jesus' claim to be the only Savior. Critics
argue this view is exclusory. But if Christianity is
true, then we must accept Jesus' own teachings. If one
believes Jesus' assertions to be true, then the issue is
settled.
#5-Q) Being a good person is all that
really matters. Some argue that even if a person's
religion is false, what really matters is that she's
sincere about being a good person.
A) This notion is based on the mistaken
belief that God is pleased by "religion." Sincerity
doesn't determine truth, however. One can be sincerely
convinced of the truthand be sincerely wrong. For
example, many evil men such as Hitler were very sincere
in their beliefs. God judges people based on truth, not
opinionsand that truth is Jesus Christ.
#6-Q) What about those who've never heard
about Jesus?
A) Such a question implies that God
lacks compassion because he's imposed his plan of
salvation on us. Often such inquirers seem to imply that
they're more compassionate than God! An important
biblical principle to understand is that no one has ever
remained lost who wanted to be found. Just as God sent
the apostle Philip to the seeking Ethiopian (Acts
8:26-39), Jesus promises all who seek will find (Matthew
7:7-8).
#7-Q) The Bible is filled with errors.
A) Because the Bible is God's Word and
God cannot lie (Isaiah 55:10-11; John 17:17; Titus 1:2;
Hebrews 4:12), it's totally trustworthy, free from any
error. God's Word is described as "the word of truth" (2
Corinthians 6:7; Colossians 1:5; 2 Timothy 2:15; James
1:18). Inerrancy isn't a theory about the Bible; it's
the teaching of the Bible itself. What most people claim
as errors in the Bible aren't errors but difficulties.
People think they've stumbled upon apparent
inconsistencies when they haven't taken the time to find
out all the facts, or made an in-depth study of the
passage. Many Bible questions have been answered as new
discoveries have been made in fields such as language,
history, archeology, and other sciences. Regardless of
the kind of difficulty found, not a single
irreconcilable error can be found in the Bible's pages.
#8-Q) If God is so good, why is there
evil?
A) The thrust of this charge is that
evil's presence disproves God's power. But is the
presence of evil consistent with the God of the Bible?
Consider: * God didn't create evil. Sin entered the world
through Adam's disobedience (). * Evil is necessary for a free world. Freedom, or
free will, gives humans the opportunity to make wrong
choices. * God hesitates to stop evil for an important
reason. Just as parents often allow their children to
make mistakes and suffer the consequences, God acts in a
parental fashion with his creation. * God has the solution for evil. Jesus
accomplished the ultimate defeat of evil on the cross.
But just as we don't yet have eternal bodies, evil has
yet to be removed from the world.
#9-Q) Why is there suffering?
A) Many hold that pain is evidence
against God's concern for humankind. However, pain can
be used for good and bad purposes. Not all pain is bad.
Pain is an essential mechanism for survival. Without
pain, the body is stripped of vital protection. Pain is
an important signal to warn of even greater danger.
Suffering is a signal. It also can be a spiritual signal
that reminds us of the fragile balance of life and our
mortality. In The Problem of Pain, Christian apologist
C.S. Lewis writes, "God whispers to us in our pleasure,
speaks to us in our conscience, but shouts to us in our
pain; it is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world." Some
suffering actually helps to bring greater good. This is
best seen in Jesus' own suffering. Jesus traveled down
the road of pain, loneliness, and deatha road that led
to the cross. Jesus isn't just a Savior, he's our
suffering Savior. The cross is the ultimate example of
innocent suffering. At the heart of this issue is the
underlying challenge that God isn't fair. The problem
is, society holds pleasure as its chief goal in life.
This philosophy is known as hedonism, and those who live
by this philosophy find any form of suffering offensive.
To say God isn't fair is an extremely dangerous charge.
If God gave us what we deserve, we'd be in trouble. It
would be foolish to ask God for justice; what we need is
mercy. God's mercy and grace are so taken for granted
that suffering and pain shock us.
#10-Q) If there's a hell, why would a
loving God send people there?
A) God hates evil, and one day, evil
will cease. While evil and suffering and pain are very
real, they are also very temporary. The day God deals
with evil, he will deal with all evil. In the meantime,
God strives for as many people as possible to accept
Jesus' death and resurrection as payment for their sins,
so they can live eternally with him. The sad fact is,
many will make the decision not to be a part of God's
heaven. God won't send them to hell; they'll send
themselves. For God to force people to go to heaven
against their wishes wouldn't be heavenit would be
hell. Atheist author Jean-Paul Sarte noted that the
gates of hell are locked from the inside by the free
choice of men and women.
3
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the
disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us,
when shall these things be? and what
shall be the sign of
thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4
And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that no man deceive
you. 5
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ;
and shall deceive many. 6
And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see
that ye be not troubled: for all
these things must come
to pass, but the end is not yet. 7
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and
pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8
All these are
the beginning of sorrows. 9
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and
shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations
for my names sake.
10 And then shall
many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another. 11
And many false prophets shall rise, and shall
deceive many. 12
And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many
shall wax cold. 13
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same
shall be saved. 14
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in
all the world for a witness unto all nations; and
then shall the end come. 15
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of
desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him
understand:) 16
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the
mountains: 17
Let him which is on the housetop not come down to
take any thing out of his house: 18
Neither let him which is in the field return back to
take his clothes. 19
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them
that give suck in those days! 20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter,
neither on the Sabbath day: 21
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not
since the beginning of the world to this time, no,
nor ever shall be. 22
And except those days should be shortened, there
should no flesh be saved: but for the elects sake
those days shall be shortened. 23
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here
is Christ, or there;
believe it
not. 24
For there shall arise false Christs, and false
prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders;
insomuch that, if it
were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect. 25
Behold, I have told you before. 26
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is
in the desert; go not forth: behold,
he is in the secret
chambers; believe it
not. 27
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and
shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming
of the Son of man be. 28
For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the
eagles be gathered together. 29
Immediately after the tribulation of those days
shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light, and the stars shall fall from
heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be
shaken: 30
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in
heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth
mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in
the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31
And he shall send his angels with
a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather
together his elect from the four winds, from one end
of heaven to the other.
Matthew 24:3-31
In the above verses, Jesus tells of the signs of end times that we
are to watch for and prepare for His return. More importantly, He
wants us to be warned that there will be many who will come upon the
earth to try and deceive us. He wants all to understand that He
will not set foot on this earth again until Judgment day. Many will come
in His name, proclaiming to be the Messiah, or a prophet of God, but
they will all be liars and deceivers. Read those passages and
understand so that you yourself won't be deceived into following false
doctrines and/or Gods. To fully understand what's to come before
The Second Coming, check out Revelation, the last book of the Bible.
The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ. Much anticipated and much
talked about, but often misunderstood. Everyone who follows the
will of God has looked forward to this event for over 2000
years. What most people who are looking forward to it don't
understand is that if you witness this event, that means you missed
the
Rapture of The Church and had to survive through
The 7 Year Tribulation (which would be a miracle in itself). If that is the case, your chances of being
saved from an eternity in hell are very slim. You will have had to
escape the persecution of all Christians by the antichrist, the
outlawing of any form of The Word (Holy Bible),
and most likely would have had to accept the mark of the beast.
Behold, he cometh with the
clouds; and everyone shall see him, and they also which
pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail
because of him. Even so, Amen.
Revelation 1:7
This verse, Revelation 1:7 refers to how mankind
will respond to His Second Coming. You notice that all will
wail because of Him. Those who are still alive at this time
will have much to fear. (In fact, so fearful will man be that
the opposing armies set to kill each other at Armageddon will turn
all their military attention on Jesus and his angelic army,
forgetting all about their differences in hopes of destroying Jesus
and therefore not being judged.) Those who are dead but persecuted Him
in their time, will also have much to fear, for their Judgment is
close at hand. There is much to fear about the Judgment for
those who denied Christ. Mankind is so arrogant, so
self-centered and egotistical, that most have chosen to not believe
in The Word because they haven't personally experienced the miracle
inside their hearts once they've given their hearts over to Him. If
you've lived for Him, whether it's been a millennium ago, or today,
you have nothing to fear.
Now it would be a miracle for anyone to survive the Tribulation,
especially a Christian, having
escaped/endured just one of these situations, but to survive all three
to the end will be near to impossible, and to escape the ultimate
damnation of hell.
Missing the Rapture, you will have to convert to Christianity
immediately and hold strong in your faith until the/your end,
whenever and however that may come.
Unfortunately, most people who miss the Rapture will find
themselves angry at God. My assumption is that the majority of
those will be the ones who call themselves Christian when asked, but
don't live a life of Christian principals. They don't read the
Bible and know nothing about what to expect and what is the real
Truth. They live a worldly
life for themselves, saying only that they "believe" in God.
That's not enough.
Once you've become dedicated to changing your life to live it
for Christ, you will have to endure the persecution by the people,
nations, and governments, all directed by the Antichrist himself.
This will be an extremely difficult time to call yourself a
Christian. You can expect to be confronted numerous times,
questioned about your faith, and face possible death as the
consequence to your faith in God and Jesus Christ. The most
important part of these times for the Christian who wants to be
saved will be to stand up for your faith, no matter the
consequences. Will it be difficult? Yes and no. If
your faith in the Lord is strong, you will have the comfort of
knowing that should you die then and there, you will be saved and
live an eternity with Him. If your faith is lacking, you will
probably be full of fear, afraid to die, and deny Christ. Therefore
you will not be saved.
Those who live today, or have lived without Christ completely,
have asked themselves "Why would a God so loving allow such horror
and ugliness to be?". The fact of the matter is this, God gave
us the right to choose whether or not to follow Him. Those who
follow him completely, understand that there will be trials and
tribulations throughout this life. Sin is what's brought about
these trials and tribulations. It is only by putting our
undying faith in Him, knowing that there's a reason for everything
that happens, who will hold strong in their faith and be saved when
Judgment day comes. God doesn't "allow" the horrors and
ugliness to happen. These are all created by mankind in their
sinful selfishness. A child born with some kind of infirmity
and has lived their entire life with it, terminal or not, will
typically have the best outlook on life and death. A person
born what we call "normal" who has some kind of accident or illness
that puts them into some kind of infirm life situation, has been
given a test by God to see where their faith lies. Were they
faithful before, or were they not? Did their situation create
a more faithful person, or less faithful? God nor the Bible
have ever promised that by following Him you will not be faced with
trials and tribulations. He only promised that if your faith
remained strong until the end, you will be saved and live with him
in His Kingdom forever after. One thing is certain, that
everyone will die of this life, and there's no getting around it.
What happens to your soul afterward is what should concern most of
us. Trying to convince yourself that there is no afterlife is
the single most critical mistake an individual can make. Remember
who's behind that argument. None other than Satan himself, the great
deceiver.
I am he that liveth, and was
dead: and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen: and have
the keys of hell and of death.
Revelation 1:18
Fear none of those things
which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some
of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have
tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I
will give thee a crown of life.
Revelation 2:10
The Second Coming of The Messiah will not happen until the very end
of The Tribulation, the final day, (the last 3 1/2 years of which will be a living hell
on Earth), as the world's leaders and armies will ready themselves for
the Battle of Armageddon and have their sights set on the destruction of Israel.
When Jesus sets foot on Earth again, it will be the end of evil in it's
entirety. God's Kingdom will finally have it's rightful and
justified place on Earth where only Christians and true followers of
Christ will live. With only a word, Christ will erase evil and
destroy the armies of mankind, along with any and all unbelievers.
Most all of those who witness the Second Coming while still in their human bodies
will have fear in their hearts at the realization that they've been
wrong all along. In order to have survived on this planet until
that time they will have had to accept the mark of the beast, which will
either be in the palm of their right hand, or on their foreheads.
My guess is that it will be an RFID (radio-frequency identification)
chip the will be inserted under the skin of our right hands. This
chip will be the mark of the beast written about in the Bible.
Without it, a person won't be able to survive normally in the world
during the last 3 1/2 years of The Tribulation. Why you ask?
Because the chip will be required in order to get your paycheck, buy
food, clothing and necessities, pay rent and other bills, get medical
assistance, or do anything
of a legal sense. It will replace your identification, credit
cards, and all forms of currency (paper or coinage). This will be
around the time that there becomes one world government and only one
form of currency (which is already in the works as you read this).
The worst part about this whole scenario is that all world
governments will make it a requirement for all persons alive, and those
who are born will automatically be implanted. But what really
takes the cake is that future events leading up this requirement are going to convince the general public that these chips
are actually a necessity to stabilize a chaotic and criminal
society! That's right. We will be asking for this
RFID chip under the pretense that it will help to eliminate crime and
terrorism,
among other things. The world public will be so convinced of it's
brilliance and effectiveness that we ourselves will demand it's
implementation. The government will then proceed with making it a
law, and phasing out all forms of currency worldwide. And it's
going to be a plan that they've (the governing elite and powerfully
rich) wanted all along. Guided by the Antichrist, total control of
your life will be taken out of your hands, and you will have asked them
to do it! A perfect plan for the Antichrist to take Heavenly
salvation away from you.
You go to some kind of anti-government rally of any kind, they'll
know it through their satellite tracking of your RFID chip, and shut it
off so that you can't buy goods to stay alive. Your every move
will be watched, catalogued, and analyzed. Nothing you do will go
unnoticed. Privacy will be completely gone. They'll have you
exactly where they want you, all guided and promoted by the Antichrist,
whom the world has all faith in. He will make himself appear as
brilliant, seeming to have the answer to all the worlds problems,
gathering all people's allegiance unto him, ensuring your eternal
damnation. Next on his list will be the implementation of a new worldly
religion, making all religions, especially Christianity, illegal.
Does the Antichrist care about you? Think again.
He simply wants to take as many souls from God that he can. Does
he think he can win against God in his final moments? No he
doesn't. But he does know that his time is short. He knows the words written in the Bible. Satan
knows he was defeated once and will be defeated again. Evil is
evil, and evil has never cared about anyone or anything other than
destruction. If your soul can be destroyed and kept from God,
Satan will see that as some kind of sickening victory. But in the
end, God will be victorious over Satan and evil, and those who had faith and have received
God's grace will be victorious with him.
So what is it you can do to make sure that you're not one of the
ignorant people who believe they're making the right choice in following
"the worldly way" and missing the boat to eternal salvation? First
and foremost, you need to make the decision TODAY that you
will be a believer in Jesus Christ, that he is God in the flesh, that He
came to die for our sins, and that he was resurrected from death.
Time is of the essence as The Rapture can happen any day, any time, and
without any warning whatsoever. If you're left behind, you're on
your own to fight for your life on a daily basis.
Secondly, you have to spend as much time in the Bible and in prayer
that you possibly can. The bottom line here is that you have to
know as much of
The Word as you can so that you'll know the truth. By knowing
the truth, you can't be mislead into believing the lies that our
governments (led by the Antichrist and False Prophet) will try to convince you of.
The real truth is there in black and white, in the King James Bible.
But the government as a whole doesn't want you to know it, and others
also don't want you to know it. Did you know that Jesus said that
the least likely people to be saved will be the rich and the powerful?
The rich because they don't want to give up their money. Money is
their god. The powerful of course don't want to get rid of their
power. Power is their god. The rich and powerful have always
imposed their will on the poor and/or working class and see themselves
as plenty successful without the help of Christ. They're all high
and mighty in thinking that they know what's best for us. We're
not rich or powerful, so we're obviously too stupid to make our own
sensible decisions. Right? Funny really, when you look at
the current economic situation in the US and the world today, you see
that it's the rich and powerful who have put us all in this position.
And who's going to pay for their greed and selfishness? The poor
and/or working class of course. They sure know what's best for us
and how to provide it don't they...? All I need is my Bible and
prayer and I'm good to go!
It is my personal belief that they (the rich and powerful,
governments and bankers) will lie with half-truths by using
distorted versions of Biblical truth, twisted in a subtle way to sound
truthful to those who don't know God's Word (you
have to know the Word inside and out so that you will see their lies for
what they are).
These people will be directed by the Antichrist, who will be seen as the
Messiah himself because of the wonders he and the False Prophet will produce.
He will also amazingly seem to find an answer to all the worlds' problems. What will reinforce
the Antichrist will be the False Prophet who will also produce "miracles
and signs", with the help of the Biblical distortions prevalent in all
of the "New And Improved" versions of The Word that aren't the true Word
of God.
All these new versions, with the NIV version being one of the worst (and
unfortunately most popular to newer Christians), omit entire verses, ultimately creating
confusion for those who don't understand the importance of the real
truth. They also change
words that can completely change the true meaning of what is intended to
be understood. They do this and get away with it by telling us that
their different words are easier to understand in today's American English!
To get an idea of just how and what they do to distort God's Word and
diminish the real truth, go to the
King James Holy Bible page of this site and read the entire page.
You will find an abundance of examples of what's being done today to
keep people from the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
Ultimately, there is more to the complete changes than we've printed
here within that page, but it will give you enough of an idea to
understand how the world is slowly turning people away from God, Jesus
Christ, and ultimately being saved. Especially of late, the world is very
quickly moving away from Christianity and Biblical principals. It's very scary, very deceptive, and very
eye-opening. A must-read for anyone who wants to know the truth as
it should be read and understood.
So in closing, let's encapsulate what's been said above:
You DON'T want to be on Earth to witness The Second Coming of
The Messiah Jesus Christ.
If you do witness it, the odds are very great that you will
spend eternity in Hell.
If you accept the mark of the beast, whatever that mark may be
(on your forehead, in the palm of your right hand, or under your
skin as an RFID chip),
you're going to Hell.
The time to accept Jesus and ask Him to fill your heart with the Holy Spirit is
NOW.
The Rapture Of The Church can happen at any given moment,
without warning.
It's never too early, but it can be too late (if you happen to
die before that time), to ask Jesus to be your
personal savior.
If you miss The Rapture and face The Tribulation, you can still
be saved, but will most likely die a martyr in your testimony and faith in Jesus
Christ as your lord and savior.
When Jesus Christ sets foot on this Earth again on the Mount of
Olives, it will be a moment
of great triumph for all Christians who have ever lived, live, and died in
Christ. Especially those who died professing Christ's truth
without waver. They will be truly justified by Christ and given a
special place in His Kingdom, and evil will
be vanquished in the blink of an eye forever. If you're on the side of evil at
that time, don't think for a second that you've got a fighting chance at
any kind of victory. Victory is for God and His people alone.
There will be no riding the fence and getting lucky. You won't be
able to explain away your ignorance by saying "I didn't know".
Your conscience knows and there's no denying that.
You can't tell him you are a Christian because you believe in Him but
never changed your life to live for Him. There will be
no taking the mark of the beast "just so you can stay alive" and
thinking you can still be saved. Get God Now and be taken in The
Rapture! If you miss
the first boat (the Rapture), get God immediately into your heart, read the Bible over
and over so that you can't be fooled or mislead by the Antichrist of
False Prophet, and prepare to die in
the Tribulation before Christ returns to vanquish evil.
Always remember, there are worse things than death. Try dying as
an unbeliever and spending an eternity of torment with your soul on
fire, forever and ever.
So the Second Coming Of Jesus Christ is the final moment of the
Tribulation and signals the end of this era (where man controls the
earth and is
consumed by sinfulness), and
the beginning of a new, much more important era, The Millennial Kingdom Of God.
This will be a period of 1,000 years where Jesus will rule on earth
and there will be no other kings besides Him. He is Lord of lords
and King of kings.
This time is spoken about in Revelation 20:1-10, and not
surprisingly, there is some theological dispute about this chapter. There are three scenarios that have been
debated about this 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom with the reign of Jesus on earth. Here they
are as outlined by
Hal Lindsey in his book "The Apocalypse Code":
This is the oldest view, which holds that Christ will literally and
bodily return to earth before the 1,000-year kingdom begins. He
will set up this kingdom and reign from the throne of David out of a
rebuilt city of Jerusalem. At the end of the 1,000 years, Jesus
will turn the kingdom over to His Father, at which point it will merge
with God's eternal Kingdom, the New Jerusalem in Heaven.
There is no question in my mind that the apostles and early
Christians expected Jesus to set up this literal, earthly kingdom right
then and there.
In Acts 1:6, just before Jesus ascended into heaven, the disciples asked
Him, "Lord, will you at this time restore the Kingdom to Israel?"
In His answer, Christ didn't try to set them straight by telling them
there wouldn't be an earthly kingdom for Israel. He simply told
them that it wasn't for them to know when it would come to pass, for
this was something which only God the Father knew. That statement alone
indicates that it will definitely come to pass, but no one knows when.
And let's look at the Lord's prayer - the most commonly recited
prayer in Christianity. Remember, Jesus was instructing His
followers how to pray. Think about the words: "Thy Kingdom
come. They will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
His will can't be done on earth in the same way it is in heaven until
all of the Lord's enemies have been subdued for 1,000 years. Satan will
be let loose again at the end of the millennium and make one more
attempt at destroying Jesus, at which point Satan and all those
condemned to Hell will be thrown into the lake of fire to burn forever.
One of the major tenets (beliefs) of Pre-Millennialism is that conditions on
earth are continually getting worse rather than better, and that the Kingdom age
can't begin until Christ returns to destroy those who have led the world
into its downward spiral. Is there any doubt in your mind that
conditions here on earth are getting worse in every respect? Maybe you're a
Pre-Millennialist, too.
This belief teaches that there will be no literal 1,000-year reign of Christ
on earth and no earthly Kingdom of God. According to this view,
when Jesus returns to earth, he will take all believers out, condemn all
unbelievers and eternity will begin right there and then.
This view, of course, tends to allegorize (interpret as symbolic) all the prophecies about
the promised kingdom. It also teaches - dangerously, I believe -
that Israel and the Jews forfeited all God's promises to her because of unbelief, and
that the Church will inherit all the promises originally intended for
Israel. A-Millennialists teach that the Church is the fulfillment
of the millennial kingdom, and that Christ presently reigns through the
Church in peace and righteousness. A-Millennialism, I believe,
optimistically sees the Church moving triumphantly to victory.
This view teaches that there will be a literal 1,000 year kingdom on
earth, but that Christ will claim His kingdom only after the 1,000 years
have expired. Post-Millennialists believe also that the world will
get better and better and defeat evil through the spread of the gospel, and this will be
the millennial age. Then, after this "Millennial age", Christ will take
the believers to heaven and condemn those who reject Him.
The problem I personally have with this view is that we can clearly
see that the world is not getting better in any way, shape, or form. It
is very clearly falling away from God and Christianity further and
faster than ever before. Islam is stronger than ever before, currently
estimated to be 1.5 billion strong. China has 1.4 billion people, none
of which can openly call themselves Christian without persecution,
imprisonment, or death. Most of the other Asian cultures follow
Buddhism. India has a population over 1 billion, with 80% being Hindu,
13.5% being Muslim, and a smattering of Christians. Russia and her
former USSR satellite states don't have many Christians either. Take all
that into account out of the worlds total population, along with how
sharply Christianity has fallen off the radar in the US and we can see
just how dire the situation is. These are facts.
Christianity is not winning this battle. Christians are taught by the
Bible to love one another, even our enemies. Most of the other religions
may consider love and important component, but it's not the dominant
component. Especially when dealing with those of other religions. How
anyone can possibly believe that the gospel will outright defeat evil is
beyond me.
Take for example those of Muslim beliefs. Most are innocently
following a religion they see and feel as right, and they leave others
to believe as they want to believe. They can live in peace with peoples
of other religions. However, there's an extreme element of Muslim
believers that are quite the opposite. They believe that everyone should
be Muslim, or put to death. The danger in being a Muslim believer, even
a peaceful one, is that at some point those of the extreme element will
confront them with a choice, either kill anyone who won't convert to
Islam, or be killed yourself right here and now. What do you think they
will do when given that life or death choice? They'll do exactly what
the Germans did when confronted with those same basic choices. The major
portion of Germans had no problem with Jews, living and doing business
with them freely. That is until Hitler took over the country and began a
program of genocide. He spewed forth rhetoric full of hatred and
discrimination of Jews, slowly changing laws that were against the
Jewish people, even German Jews, and slowly changed the attitude of an
entire country. Save for a few of the general public in Germany, most
Germans were sucked into this overall attitude of hatred and 6 million
Jews were killed in dozens of horrendous ways. That is what most of the
1.5 billion Muslims will do. Christianity will not win over the earth
through peace. Jesus is going to have to ride his white horse of victory
and destroy all those who oppose him, whether they physically oppose, or
just oppose Him in their hearts. There is no other way, and the Bible
says it's the way it's going to happen.
So here we are, now if you don't think
you have a soul to burn or there is no hell for your soul to be
eternally tormented, you haven't read enough on this site. Read it
all again, beginning with the first video on this page

The antithesis of the Holy Bible is the Qu'ran and Hadith of Islam.
Islam is a religion of hate and is dangerous to anyone who doesn't call
themselves Muslim or Islamic. Islam is trying to infiltrate our country
through "cultural jihad", as they've already done to England. Now we've
all heard of Jihad, or "Holy War", which is essentially acts of
terrorism on innocent people. The individual's who call themselves
jihadists, and the Muslim clerics who preach the hatred of Islam, don't
call the people they kill innocent. They like to call them guilty by
association, because they're of a certain race, nationality, or
religion. But the bottom line is that the jihadists are cowards,
performing cowardly acts of violence against defenseless people.
Brigitte Gabriel is all too familiar with how they operate, as she
was ousted from her homeland during a "Holy War" brought on by the
Muslims. Lebanon was once a free country, with religious harmony for all
who lived there. At this moment I don't recall which country's refugees
were welcomed in, but the country of Lebanon allowed a massive refugee
movement to settle in their borders, to keep them out of harm's way.
Unfortunately for Lebanon, the majority of these refugees were of Muslim
faith. Some of them were extremists, and used their religious zealotry
to bring all Muslims within Lebanon to the conclusion that Lebanon
should be a country of Islamic leadership. Lebanon fought the nice way
at first, trying to reason with them, that they should all be able to
live in harmony together, no matter the religion. But for Muslims,
there's no such thing as harmonious living with people's of other
religions. Muslims see no other way to live than through the Islamic
eyes, which is garbage, but that's how they believe. So after years of
chaos, Lebanon fell to Islam and is to this day an Islamic nation.
Here's a letter that Brigitte Gabriel wrote to President Obama (the
antichrist) after his visit to Cairo, Egypt this week. Obama, if he's
not the antichrist, is an idiot. Read her letter, "An
Open Letter To President Obama" and you decide if he's on the right
track. Obama's got an agenda that not many people know of, and I'm
certain in the end it won't benefit America in the least. Read her
letter, and then maybe you can visit the ACT! website and make a
contribution to the cause, which is to prevent cultural jihad from
overtaking America. She's been there, she knows how they operate, and
how to defeat them in their quest for supremacy...
